Self-Evaluation
To make my
video, I used I-Movie and images form the internet. For the process, I began by
finding images that I could talk about and saving them onto my desktop. I
wanted to have all images prepared so that I could think ahead of time. I them
dragged them onto I-Movie and set time durations on them so that they could
give or take equal 1 minute. I then added cross blurs in between each image so
that I have a good transition onto each scene. After this, I added text to each
screen, talking about different interests of mine and facts about me. Once
completed, I went on a Youtube-MP3 converter and converted a song that I wanted
playing in the background.
I had a few
complications during the making of the video. I didn’t have access to I-Movie
at home so I could only work on the video during lessons. This limited the time
I had to work on it and gave me less time to make errors. Another issue I had
was with converting the video into a file that I could play online. This took
longer than expected. The main issue I had was with uploading the video to the
website. It would deny me access to upload at school, and when I attempted to
upload it at home it said the video file was too large to be uploaded. This
issue needs to still be fixed and will hopefully not take as much time as I
hoped. A way around the issue I could take is to upload the video to YouTube
and link it from there.
